ASLA’s lawyers review each candidate by looking at client assessments and publicly-available filings, which may include: verdicts and settlement information. Each candidate is assessed based on educational accomplishments, involvement and leadership in bar associations and professional organizations, activities within their community, and demonstrated legal achievements.
Abby exemplifies all of the criteria set out by the ASLA. She provides client-focused service, by aggressively advocating for her clients while remaining active in the Utah legal community. She is interim President of the Utah Minority Bar Association and a board member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. In additions, she is a member of the Women Lawyers of Utah, LGBT & Allied Lawyers of Utah, and the Salt Lake County Bar Association.
